Allen Meadows, April 2020 (Vintage 2018)

Pungent aromas of wood, plum, earth, spice and black berry liqueur introduce supple and relatively forward flavors that culminate in a firm and mildly drying finish. Neal Martin, January 2020 (Vintage 2018)

The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a classy bouquet of vibrant red berry fruit, sous-bois and brown spice aromas that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. A fine-boned, focused Les Saint-Georges with admirable precision and mineralité on the finish. This is a step up from the Les Vaucrains. Excellent.
