William Kelley, January 2020 (Vintage 2018)

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Referts (Domaine Louis Jadot) is showing well, exhibiting aromas of fresh pear, waxy citrus rind, warm bread and blanched almonds. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with impressive cut and a chalky finish. This is a fine effort that merits serious consideration.

Neal Martin, November 2019 (Vintage 2018)

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru has a crisp, taut bouquet of white peach, lemon peel and wet limestone aromas that offer a little more precision compared to the La Garenne. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, revealing a tang of marmalade and quince toward the lively, focused finish. This is another Puligny with very good potential.
