Product notes
Coming from pebble and clay soils, this wine takes its name from the 45th parallel north which passes two kilometers south of the cellars. This cuvée represents the winery's commitment to organic viticulture and respect for natural balances. Organic viticulture shapes a lively wine, full of harmony, which translate into the brightness of the fruit in all its purity.
Production notes
The Mourvèdres are fermented with the Grenaches to fix the color and the tannins. The Syrah is vinified separately in the traditional way by a delicate maceration which lasts about 3 weeks. Aging takes place in stainless steel vats for 9 months, and in bottles in the cellars to stabilize the wines.
Tasting notes
On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits and a light bouquet of flowers and spices, all of which are found on the palate. In the mouth, nfull and ripe, the tannins are present and structuring but quite fine. The finish has subtle mint notes, a signature of the presence of Syrah in the blend.
