Evolving and savoury, this is maturing but still lively Valpolicella from the classic corvina/corvinone-rondinella partnership, with terrifically succulent acids and fine,
gentle tannins. I really like the depth and length on offer - this is impressive wine, also with complexity above the mean. There's an ease of balance on the palate that
makes this a sheer delight to sip, and you'll want to come back for more of that saline, saliva-inducing quality. Drink or hold 1-3 more years.

Dark, floral and dusty in nature, the 2019 Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso Macion pulls you close with nuances of crushed wild berries, violette pastille and white smoke. It's silky-smooth and pliant, with cooling acidity that enlivens the ripe red and hints of blue fruit found within. A staining of primary concentration lingers under an air of pretty inner violet tones, as the Macion tapers off long and lighty structured. This is a verry nicely balanced and characterful Ripasso. 

A multilayered nose of raisin, dried cherry, dried flowers, and a touch of coffee powder. Still very young.
