Product notes

The cuvée is named after the daughter of Axelle and Pierre Courdurié. The main interested party even designed the label! The vines are cultivated on high altitude terroirs where the climate remains cool. Calcareous and sandy soils.

Production notes

The harvest is done manually at night to keep the grapes at low temperature. Fermentation at 16 ° C after settling. Maturing in vats on fine lees for a few months, then only 10% of the production is then aged in French oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Golden yellow color that opens up to notes of honey, ginger, citrus and spices. The fresh and lively palate continues towards a beautiful mineral acidity which makes the finish round and aromatic. Pairings with smoked salmon, seafood and goat cheese.

James Suckling, April 2023 (Vintage 2022)

Plenty of real chardonnay and apple pie character here, with salt and white pepper. Medium body. Crisp and flavorful. Made in Bordeaux. Drink now. Screw cap.

Aromas of ripe apricots, grilled pears, baked apples and toasted almonds. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity and a creamy, clean and round palate. Fresh and subtly nutty. Drink now.

Pale rose-pink color. A medium-bodied rose with aromas and flavors of rose petal, candied apple and raspberry. Crisp and fruity, yet dry. Drink now.

Tamlyn Currin, May 2021 (Vintage 2020)

They suggest mango and ginger on the back label, and I normally ignore (admittedly with not a little superciliousness) the tasting notes on the back label, I have to agree here. Ripe, bright, friendly Chardonnay. Not overly complex, but it's a good glassful and should I happen upon this in an unpretentious country pub or brasserie where all I wanted was a glass of wine to go with noisy friends, I'd be happy.

James Suckling, March 2020 (Vintage 2019)

This is a fresh, fruity white with bright fruit and acidity. Cooked-apple and lemon character with hints of stones and apples. Medium to full body and a clean finish. Shows clarity and balance.
