Product notes

The Hauts de Croix de Labrie plots are located in the part of the estate closest to Libourne. This wine is made from the fruits of the youngest vines.

Production notes

The fruits are picked by hand and transported in wooden crates. The fruit is handled only by gravity and is vinified in small vats. Aging in barrels half in new barrels and one year 14 months.

Tasting notes

Deep purple / black color with aromas of red fruits and spices, subtle and elegant tannins, ripe and tasty. Agreements with rib of beef and duck.

A dense, layered red with ripe, creamy tannins that are beautifully proportioned. Full-bodied, yet balanced and energetic. Focused finish. Plenty of berry, chocolate and light cedar highlights. Drink after 2024.
