Product notes

Blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from 35-year-old vines.

Production notes

Our vines are very dense and worked in Guyot double Médoc. Tillage is traditional, we systematically reject the use of chemical fertilizers and use only natural compost. We practice a Médocaine vinification, distinguished by long fermentation and maceration (3 weeks) before traditional aging for 12 months.

Tasting notes

Ruby color. The nose is delicate and fine, already very expressive with its aromas of raspberries and currants and a very well-integrated woody note. In mouth, the attack is silky with a round and greedy middle with notes of cherries. Pairings with beef flank steak, steak and grilled vegetables.

Roger Voss, February 2019 (Vintage 2016)

Dense, rich and still young , this wine has excellent potential. Firmly structured and full of blackberry fruits, it comes from the small village of By in the northern Médoc. It likely will ready from 2021.
