Product notes

From our selection tastings throughout the year, the Languedoc is a blend of the most brilliant fruits of Syrah, in Saint-Chinian and on the Terrasses du Larzac with the tasty Grenache from Roussillon.

Production notes

Hecht et Bannier Languedoc is produced with grapes certified organic by Ecocert FR-BIO-01, this wine is aged 100% in concrete vats to retain its fresh and fruity aromas and flavors in the mouth.

Tasting notes

Pretty carmine red color, this Languedoc evokes aromas of red fruits on the nose, followed by spicy and peppery nuances. Balanced and with a beautiful structure, it is a Mediterranean wine, fresh and thirst-quenching. Pairings with tapas, cold cuts and beef brochettes with peppers.

Anthony Dias Blue, January 2021 (Vintage 2019)

A blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan in which beefy aromas and flavors meet blackpeppered plum and an iron-mineral core. Earthy and a touch smoky, with a hint of soy sauce on the savory finish.

February 2021 (Vintage 2018)

A sleek red, with appealing blackberry and red plum fruit flanked by savory spice and anise details. Underpinnings of dusty earth and garrigue give interest to the plush finish. Syrah, Grenache and Carignan

Joe Czerwinski, January 2023 (Vintage 2020)

A tank-aged blend of 60% Syrah, 25% Grenache and 15% Carignan, the 2020 Languedoc delivers mellow, easygoing cherry fruit and hints of dried spices. It's medium to full-bodied, supple and silky, with plenty of fruit-forward charm. For $15, it's a solid everyday value.

Tamlyn Currin, July 2020 (Vintage 2018)

Certified organic. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan.
Rose petals and tea leaves and plums. Aromatic and ripe. Long freshness. Firm but elegant tannins and a light liquorice note and lightly bitter sign-off to the deep plum fruit. (TC)
