Product notes

On poor granite soils, protected from the Atlantic influence by the mountains, the vineyards of this part of the country see the ripening of grapes which have a relatively high natural acidity and which bring finesse and complexity.

Production notes

Complete destemming, short pre-fermentation maceration and fermentation in vats for 6-8 days with fairly frequent pumping over. After alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation, aging is done in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels for 18 months.

Tasting notes

Ruby color. Aromas of ripe black and red fruits with floral notes. Supple and silky on the palate, slightly woody while remaining sapid, it presents a beautiful structure and fine tannins. Will pair nicely with apple blood pudding, minced veal ravioli and black olives, Portuguese chicken.
