Product notes

Sauvignon Blanc is grown on the slopes of Girlan, at an altitude of between 400 and 500 m above sea level, in well-aerated vineyards. The mineral-rich soil is the result of glacial sedimentation. The influence of the Eastern Alps gives this wine its intense and characteristic bouquet. The grapes grow on glacial moraine soils and are harvested at optimal ripeness.

Production notes

The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers to avoid excessive pressure on the grapes. Gentle pressing of whole bunches and clarification of the must by natural sedimentation. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Aging on fine lees for 6 months in stainless steel vats without malolactic fermentation.

Tasting notes

Its elegant structure and beautiful consistency, combined with intense notes, give it an excellent, flavorful, mineral structure and a persistent palate. This wine pairs wonderfully with white fish, asparagus, and other spring vegetables. Pairings with smoked salmon and goat cheese quiche

James Suckling, May 2022 (Vintage 2021)

A suave and elegant sauvignon with not a hint of the gritty tartness that often mars wines from this grape. Plenty of ripe-melon and yellow-grapefruit aromas, plus impressive substance on the ample palate. Long, very clean fresh-herb finish. Drink or hold.
