Product notes

Domaine de Thalabert, owned by Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné since 1834, is the oldest vineyard in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. The name of the cuvée refers to the draft animals that worked on these plots.

Production notes

Manual harvest in small boxes. Pressing in whole clusters. After settling, fermentation in concrete eggs and oak barrels including 15% new wood. Aging on lees in the same containers.

Tasting notes

Creamy white, round and full-bodied. The most striking thing is its silky mouthfeel, with some touches of citrus. The nose is surprisingly fresh with fruity aromas of melon and pineapple. Juicy finish. Pairings with sushi and cheese
