Production notes
The grapes were destemmed and then crushed. Next, they were pressed, and only the freerun must was utilized. After cold decantation for 48 hours, the must was separated from the lees. The wine fermented between 12 and 14 ºC for 4 weeks, and 85% of the lot completed fermentation in French oak barrels. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was kept in bâtonnage on fine lees for 8 months.
Tasting notes
Elegant, warm aromas featuring notes of ripe fruit—such as apple and peach—blended with subtle hints of spice and a light smoky touch. Floral notes and roasted pear also emerge, wrapped in a very delicate woody nuance, creating a harmonious and distinctive experience. Pairs well with poultry in cream sauce and fish.
