About this winery

Located in Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Tuscany, Castello di Brolio is the historic cradle of the Ricasoli family, active in viticulture since 1141, making it Italy's oldest winery. The visionary Bettino Ricasoli was behind the original Chianti Classico formula, created in 1872. Product notes

The vineyard soils are very varied, but all are dotted with stony fragments adding mineral richness. Exposure: Southwest/North at an altitude of 250-300 meters.

Production notes

Aged in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 12°C to 16°C for 25 to 30 days. Aged for 3 months in stainless steel vats

Tasting notes

This rosé opens with delicate aromas of fresh apricot and orchard flowers. The light, vibrant, and energetic palate reveals rich, juicy acidity and a lively, elegant finish. Pair with salmon and lobster pasta.
