Product notes

The grapes for this wine come from our 3 Pinot Noir crus "Girlan", "Mazon" and "Pinzon" at an altitude between 380 and 530 meters from moraine deposits on volcanic porphyry rocks and calcareous loamy soils oriented towards the west.

Production notes

The grapes are picked by hand. After destemming, the must is poured by gravity into the steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in large wooden barrels (50 hl).

Tasting notes

Ruby red color with an intense aroma of morello cherry and raspberry. This wine presents a frame of lively acidity with a juicy finish. Pairings with beef carpaccion and meat skewers.

James Suckling, September 2024 (Vintage 2022)

A very spicy and peppery pinot noir focused on freshness. The nose is very restrained, with red currants, boiled beets and earth. Juicy and crisp on the palate, with lightly framed silky tannins and a medium body. It flows to the vibrant finish, where it’s chalky in texture. Drink now.

James Suckling, August 2023 (Vintage 2021)

Vivid character here, offering ripe raspberries and strawberries together with spicy and earthy undertones as well as a touch of walnut and bark. Medium-bodied, juicy and ripe with crunchy tannins and a mellow, red-fruited finish
