About this winery

Chateau La Raz Caman benefits from the skill and know-how of 7 generations of winemakers. The estate of 40 hectares (98 acres) is located in Anglade, on the right bank of the Gironde, just across the river from Pauillac, halfway between Blaye and Saint-Ciers sur Gironde. When visiting the Bordeaux or Blaye regions, wander off the beaten track and come and taste our wines: Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, directly from the barrel. Some have been talking about La Raz Caman...

Tasting notes

Dark ruby color. Quite powerful nose which opens with subtle scents of blackcurrant, cedar and graphite. Everything is completed by subtle aromas of undergrowth. This dry red has good acidity and has rather drying tannins. It reveals a full texture which ends in a lingering finish. Pairings with red meats
