2017
See the Domaine de la Garenne detail page for more information on this brand
Plot planted on a hillside, facing south-east, on calcareous, red, stony soil. The vines are located at the upper limit of the appellation, and therefore benefit from a strong thermal excursion during maturation.
The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted manually and completely destemmed. The malolactic fermentation is carried out at 100%. The wine is aged for 12 months at 50% in stainless steel vats and 50% in 400-litre barrels (including 10% new barrels).
Beautiful bright yellow color with green highlights. Intense nose with notes of brioche and aromas of white fruits (Williams pear), pineapple and white pepper. The wine is ample, rich. The entry on the palate is mineral and the finish fresh. Pairings with oysters and veal blanquette
