Product notes

LEOS Augusta was developed by Patrick Bruel's Domaine de Leos in collaboration with Nicolas Jaboulet's Maison et Domaine Les Alexandrins. Their common goal is to create a rosé of excellence, a gastronomic rosé by transmitting their know-how and their passion for the terroir, eco-responsible viticulture. The bottle design has been redesigned to lighten the weight of the glass, while maintaining a fine and elegant bottle.

Production notes

What does Leos mean? It is the contraction of Léon and Oscar, the first names of Mr. Bruel's two children. She was baptized “Augusta”, the name of the mother of Patrick Bruel.

Tasting notes

This elegant organic rosé, with a pale "rose petal" colour, is a great rosé wine that is pure, fresh and of remarkable fullness. A unique character, born from a subtle balance between the fresh and mountainous character of Ventoux, the spicy and sunny aromas of the Alpilles and the sweetness of the Luberon, which allows it to be both an aperitif wine and the companion ideal for a meal. Pairings with Mediterranean dishes.

Elizabeth Gabay, February 2023 (Vintage 2022)

Served cold from the ice bucket, this wine initially appeared simple with fruity strawberry bonbon and fresh leafy notes; long, fresh and mineral with a gently phenolic finish. But wow! As the wine warmed up in the glass, all of the floral, rich and creamy notes typical of Bourboulenc filled out the palate, balanced by the freshness of the Rolle and the red fruit of the Grenache, creating an altogether characterful rosé.
