Product notes

Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a blend of several plots located in the town of Premeaux-Prissey. The vines were planted between 1956 and 1965. In the vineyard and in the cellar, we lavish the same care as for our most prestigious appellations.

Production notes

The grapes are harvested, sorted manually and partially destemmed. Maceration then lasts 15 days with punching down without pumping over. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts. After maceration, press juice and free-run juice are separated and aged separately. The wine is aged and placed in 228-liter Burgundy barrels for 12 months, of which 10% new barrels and 80% in vats.

Tasting notes

Deep garnet color with purplish reflections. Aromas of red fruits such as cherry and crushed strawberry. On the palate, the wine is supple, fresh and structured with a lingering finish and silky tannins. Pairings with sweetbread, rabbit, red tuna and pan-fried mushrooms.

Anna Lee, December 2021 (Vintage 2019)

Black-plum and mulberry flavors are plump in this full-bodied, ripe Pinot Noir. It's a soft, voluminous wine with easy, pillowy tannins but crisply balanced by a sharp edge of cassis acidity on the finish. Easy drinking yet elegant, it should drink at peak through 2025.

Jean Aubry, November 2020 (Vintage 2018)

J’aime ! (5+)

Allen Meadows, January 2021 (Vintage 2019)

Deep ruby color. There is a touch of wood setting off the aromas of plum liqueur and earth. The suave, round and solidly dense flavors possess good vibrancy that carries over to the rustic and quite firmly structured finish. Note that this robust effort could easily be enjoyed young as well.
