For several generations, Domaine Laporte has held a pioneering position and has acquired a reputation for the quality of its wines. This notoriety is the fruit of the rigor, the determination and the know-how of the two passionate Sancerre families who have succeeded one another. Our property extends over 21 hectares in the heart of the appellation, planted with Sauvignon Blanc for the Sancerre blanc, and Pinot Noir for the Sancerre red and the Sancerre rosé. Each of our wines is vinified separately, respecting the type of soil from which it comes: "Le Rochoy", a monopoly of the flint terroir, "La Comtesse", located on the Kimmeridgian marls of the famous "Les Monts Damnés" hill in Chavignol. Since 1986, our Domaine Laporte has been owned by the Bourgeois Family, winegrowers in Chavignol.
