Two South and North-West exposures, forming an amphitheater of vines, Valmur would come from the valley to meures (meaning berries of brambles), die (walls delimiting a property) or the name of a source, to heal the sick, in the valley of Valmur.
Production notes
Static cold settling before the start of fermentation. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrels. Duration 18 months on fine lees, in vats and barrels.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow gold color, limpid and brilliant wine. Still discreet nose with subtle woody spicy notes. When aired, opens up to a fine minerality. Persistent, fresh and ample with a beautiful flesh. Pairings with lobster, caviar or foie gras.
