James Suckling, July 2022 (Vintage 2020)

What a crazy nose, but in the best sense! Mulberry and blood orange – what a combination! Huge concentration and huge freshness, with zestiness that's really uplifting. And in combination with the great minerality that makes this an exceptionally exciting wine for the appellation. Dramatic vitality at the exuberant and very long finish. From organically grown grapes.

Neal Martin, December 2021 (Vintage 2020)

The 2020 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru has an intense, multi-faceted bouquet with vivacious black and red berry fruit, quite a noticeable marine/estuarine influence in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, fine acidity, taut and fresh with a harmonious, silky smooth finish. Lovely build in the mouth, this is a very well-crafted Clos-de-Bèze.

William Kelley, January 2022 (Vintage 2020)

The 2020 Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) is excellent, wafting from the glass with aromas of orange rind, dark berries, cherries, licorice, black truffle and exotic spices. Full-bodied, velvety and multidimensional, it's layered and complete, with lively acids, ripe tannins and a long, resonant finish. This will be very long-lived.
