Product notes

La Grande Montagne is a unique parcel in Chassagne-Montrachet, at the top of the hill at around 300 meters above sea level and with part of the Premier Cru classified climate and part in Villages.

Production notes

The harvest is manual in small crates, gently pressed then fermented in the barrels of our cooperage, a third of which are new. Aging lasts about 15 months on fine lees.

Tasting notes

Fresh and vibrant nose with delicate aromas of white-fleshed fruits. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh with a vibrant and poised finish, tinged with apricot and nectarine. Pairings with lobster

Neal Martin, October 2021 (Vintage 2020)

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet La Grande Montagne 1er Cru has a freshand vibrant nose, clearly a level up from the Village Cru this year with more mineralité and tension. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with a vibrant and poised, apricot and nectarine tinged finish. This will be delicious.
