About this winery

It was with the acquisition of Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Ursules that the history of Maison Louis Jadot began in 1826. Product notes

The climate "La Garenne" is located next to Puligny Champ Gain near Blagny. The soil is limestone of medium density. This vine is quite young, it belongs to the Magenta family.

Production notes

Aging lasts about 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.

Tasting notes

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet of honeysuckle, Golden Delicious apples and light brioche notes that come through with aeration. The palate is fresh and spicy on the entry, offering orange peel and tangerine, a twist of sour lemon on the entry, good weight and a slightly waxy-textured finish that lingers in the mouth.
