Product notes

The commune of St Aubin is located west of the Côte de Beaune, overlooking Auxey Duresses, Meursault, Puligny, Chassagne and Santenay.

Production notes

The harvest is manual and is then gently pressed and then fermented in barrels from our cooperage, a third of which are new. Aging lasts about 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.

Tasting notes

Pale gold color slightly green. Its bouquet combines green almond, marzipan, beeswax, evolving for mature wines towards cinnamon, amber and a touch of pepper. Harmony in finesse and elegance. Pairings with vegetable tian, vegan burger and goat cheese.

William Kelley, January 2020 (Vintage 2018)

Some 90% of Jadot's 2018 Saint-Aubin Blanc (Maison Louis Jadot) consists of juice from the commune's lesser-known premiers crus. Bursting with aromas of pear, peach, citrus oil and wheat toast, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and open-knit, with a charming, expressive profile.

William Kelley, January 2022 (Vintage 2020)

Notes of citrus zest, pear, green apple, orange blossom and fresh pastry preface the 2020 Saint-Aubin (Maison Louis Jadot), a medium-bodied, ample and vibrant wine with a pretty core of fruit, bright acids and a saline finish. This will drink well young.
