Product notes

The vineyard is located East/North-East on a hill (between 220 and 360 m). The soil is limestone and stony, very suitable for the Chardonnay grape variety.

Production notes

The harvest is manual in small boxes in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The raisins are then gently pressed and then fermented in barrels from our cooperage, a third of which are new. Aging lasts approximately 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.

Tasting notes

It is a tasty white, dense and refined at the same time, with a chalky mineral touch at the opening, a fine and creamy woodiness. We fully appreciate this accuracy between material and precision, in great dynamics, a tangy thread throughout and a lot of charm. Pairings with goat cheese and vegetable temoura

Bruce Sanderson, September 2020 (Vintage 2017)

Lemon cake, butterscotch and baking spice aromas and flavors mark this succulent white. Earth and stone accents chime in as this winds down on the finish, revealing a chalky feel. Best from 2021 through 2027. 17 cases imported.
