About this winery

The name Tâcherons for these cuvées comes from an old Burgundian tradition Tâcherons. It consists of remunerating women and men working in the vineyards by deed, locally called “task workers”. Les Tâcherons are workers who carry out the most meticulous work in the vineyards throughout the year.

Product notes

The Limoux region is the best Terroir for the cultivation of Pinot Noir in the south of France. Due to its altitude, almost 35O meters high, and the cooler temperatures which ensure a long and complete maturation of the grapes, this clay-limestone soil is a paradise for Pinot Noir!

Production notes

The grapes are placed in vats by gravity. The corks are carefully perforated every day to help work out the color and aromas. The temperature is controlled to within 25°C. The aging is carried out until February for 80% in stainless steel vats and 20% in barrels.

Tasting notes

Expressive nose of black cherry and spices. Nice attack, the wine is ample, long and fruity with a very nice balance between woody notes and fruit aromas. The finish is fresh, fruity and delicate with notes of cherry pits. Pairings with charcuterie, grilled fish and lamb.
