Château des Jacques - Morgon Côte du Py - 2017

Château des Jacques

Morgon Côte du Py 2017

Baked black fruit, granitic flavour, with more reflection of its terroir than their 2015 Fleurie (which was a bit confected for me). Lots of structure that keeps the high alcohol in check. Perhaps not the typical expectation of beaujolais, but this is balanced and delicious and valid as a wine in its own right.
