La Chablisienne - Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet - 2018

La Chablisienne

Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet 2018

There is enough wood to mention surrounding the citrusy and floral-based nose where additional breadth is present in the form of sea breeze, iodine and spice wisps. Once again there is excellent volume to the punch and sappy medium-bodied flavors that deliver fine length and reasonable if not special depth. This presently is a bit woody for my taste but not so much that it's annoying.

À propos de Burghound.com

Burghound.com is the result of a nearly lifelong passion for the wines of Burgundy. For more than 30 years, I have been collecting the wines and visiting the region. Each year I spend nearly five months visiting, researching, tasting, exploring and evaluating. Burgundy is my obsession really. Expanding on my coverage of the coveted pinot noir grape, each issue provides continuous coverage of both Oregon and California pinot noir, with rotating coverage of Champagne and occasional special reports from other pinot producing regions.
