About this winery
Founded in 1967, the Roquebrun Winery is located on a schist terroir typical of Languedoc, benefiting from a unique and very sunny Mediterranean microclimate. The winery's vineyard allows for the production of original, high-quality wines. Indeed, a strict set of specifications regulates pruning methods, trellising, phytosanitary treatments, and yields. The vineyard contains 23 grape varieties and extends over 700 hectares.

Production notes
The grapes come from old vines located on schist slopes, benefiting from a special microclimate with around 300 days of sunshine a year. Vinification begins with pellicular maceration, followed by cold settling. Fermentation is long and temperature-controlled. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels for 9 months, with regular manual stirring.
Tasting notes
Made from roussanne and grenache blanc grapes, its maple, apple and white pepper aromas betray the ageing process in oak barrels. On the palate, the spicy notes melt into a crisp, juicy attack. A dinner of roast chicken and barbecued potatoes couldn't be a better match.
