The Hauts de Croix de Labrie plots are located in the part of the estate closest to Libourne. This wine is made from the fruits of the youngest vines.
The fruits are picked by hand and transported in wooden crates. The fruit is handled only by gravity and is vinified in small vats. Aging in barrels half in new barrels and one year 14 months.
Deep purple / black color with aromas of red fruits and spices, subtle and elegant tannins, ripe and tasty. Agreements with rib of beef and duck.
A vivid, energetic red with medium body, fine tannins and blackberry, chocolate and walnut flavors at the end. Shows poise and finesse for the vintage. 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc.
