Product notes
One of the most recent of the AOC of Burgundy (1987), promoted to the rank of communal appellation, belongs to the prestigious vineyard of the Côte de Nuits. Marsannay is the only village whose appellation extends to red, rosé and white wines. This vineyard is exposed to the east and to the south, on fairly gentle slopes of between 260 and 320m. The soils are dark brown, dry, of limestone-marl-clay composition, with pebbles and gravels favorable to good natural drainage.
Production notes
The harvest is manual in small crates and the grapes are fermented in the barrels of our cooperage, a third of which are new. Aging lasts about 15 months on fine lees before bottling.
Tasting notes
This Marsannay will convince your taste buds with its delicate aromas of white fruits, honeysuckle and a finish imbued with beautiful minerality. An elegant and complex cuvée, for lovers of terroir with a strong personality. Pairings with oysters, veal chop and hot goat cheese.
