James Suckling, November 2024 (Vintage 2019)

This has a bright nose reminiscent of red cherries as well as spices, cedar and a touch of pepper. Medium- to full-bodied, it shows crunchy fruit tucked in with fine-grained tannins. Precise and firm but with sufficient fruit and freshness to hold it up. Solid wine. Better from 2026.

Bruce Sanderson, June 2025 (Vintage 2019)

Open and solidly structured, this is stained with black cherry, blackberry and blueberry fruit and shaded with earth and iron notes. Hints of chocolate and toasty oak linger on the tight finish. Best from 2028 through 2043. 375 cases made.
