About this winery

The Château de Fuissé, built in the heart of its eponymous village in the 16th century, has belonged to the Vincent family for 5 generations. Claude Bulland acquired the estate in 1862 for the production of wine, then in 1922, Jacques Vincent-Bulland became one of the co-founders of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Product notes

This vintage is a tribute to our grandmother, Marie-Antoinette VINCENT.

Production notes

50% are vinified in oak barrels and 50% are vinified in stainless steel vats in order to preserve the purity of the fruit, floral notes and minerality. The vats benefit from a thermoregulation system, and the barrel cellars have an ambient temperature control system.

Tasting notes

Bright and clear yellow. Fine and elegant nose with aromas of white flowers and exotic fruits. The palate is fresh and powerful with very good minerality. Pairings with Mushroom Risotto

Allen Meadows, (Vintage 2021)

Pretty, cool and airy aromas include those of acacia blossom, lemongrass and essence of pear. There is fine richness to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that exhibit good length on the firm, markedly dry and youthfully austere finale.

Famille Vincent Pouilly-Fuissé Cuvée Marie Antoinette is a tribute to Antoine Vincent’s grandmother mother, Marie Antoinette Vincent. The wine is sourced from several parcels including young vines from the Château Fuissé vineyards of Le Clos, Les Brûlés and Les Combettes as well as several non-domaine yet family owned parcels throughout the appellation.

Cuvée Marie Antoinette is created with a fresh, youthful profile in mind. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel tank with only about 25% of the total blend seeing any time in oak. The resulting wine is pleasing, refreshing and crisp on the palate, with youthful layers of acidity, apple, peach and vanilla.
