The Château de Fuissé, built in the heart of its eponymous village in the 16th century, has belonged to the Vincent family for 5 generations. Claude Bulland acquired the estate in 1862 for the production of wine, then in 1922, Jacques Vincent-Bulland became one of the co-founders of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Each generation has set its own milestone, which today ensures international recognition of the quality of Château Fuissé products. In 1948, it was Marcel Vincent's turn to expand the estate and develop the marketing of bottled wines. His son Jean-Jacques, whose philosophy is a synthesis combining modernity and tradition, created the Vincent signature range in 1967, and he was finally joined by his son in 2003, Antoine Vincent, oenologist and manager who in turn perpetuates the family excellence. The estate, located in southern Burgundy, brings together around 100 plots planted with Chardonnay, and covers around 40 hectares spread over 5 appellations, including Saint-Véran, Mâcon-Village, and of course, Pouilly-Fuissé. This exceptional fragmentation offers a range of the most beautiful clay-limestone terroirs in the region, giving both structure and elegance to its wines. In addition to white wines, Château Fuissé also uses Cru Juliénas from Domaine de la Conseillère, on granite soil. The viticulture methods are always practiced with respect for the land to ensure the sustainability of production. Each year, the stages of the vinification are adapted according to the characteristics of the vintages, with the legendary know-how of the House. For Antoine Vincent, "The expression of the terroir through its grape variety, Chardonnay, and the vintage, constitutes the basis of the wines of Château Fuissé. The vinification is therefore chosen according to the character of each plot. Our wines thus fully reveal finesse, elegance and power in line with the Grands Blancs of Burgundy. ”
