Product notes

Mâcon-Fuissé remains a confidential appellation whose plot adjoins that of Pouilly-Fuissé. Its location on the high slopes confers a characteristic freshness enhanced by vinification in vats. The Château owns 1 hectare in Mâcon-Fuissé.

Production notes

Some of the vines have been replanted recently, for the other plots, the average age is 25 years. The pressing of the whole grapes is done in pneumatic presses in order to best adapt the pressing to the quality and maturity of the grapes. The wines are vinified in stainless steel vats in order to preserve the purity of the fruit, the floral notes and the minerality. The tanks benefit from a thermoregulation system.

Tasting notes

This Mâcon-Fuissé 2019 from Château de Fuissé is a delicious wine with a superb balance of creamy texture, bright citrus fruits and hints of brioche and hazelnuts. It has excellent precision and a lively minerality. Pairings with fish, white meats and goat cheese.
