Production notes

Selection of organically grown grapes from clay-limestone soils in Saint-Chinian. (Saint-Chinian, Combejean, Pierrerue and Assignan) 100% inert tank

Tasting notes

With its Syrah grapes grown on highly floral sandstone and clay-limestone soils, this Saint-Chinian is luscious, fresh, and harmonious, blending the seductive fruit of Grenache with the structure of mature Mourvèdre. It combines aromas of tulips, iris, and lily of the valley with a stony character reminiscent of rain on hot stones. Pairs well with olive tapenade, charcuterie, and BBQ.

Nathalie Earl, June 2023 (Vintage 2022)

There's a brightness to the fruit aromas here, a little lifted. Ripe blueberries, cherries, plums. The palate is juicy, fresh and tart, with black cherry and juicy forest berries, chewy fluffy tannins and medium length. Drinkable and youthful.
