Quinta do Vale da Perdiz is a family business focused on the production of high quality wines, offering them at more than competitive prices. The founder of the company, António Fernandes, started producing port and table wines in 1989, under the technical direction of winemaker Manuel Angel Areal, from grapes harvested in the Douro Superior region, and mainly from vineyards. family. The company was created in 2000, and following its association with other regional producers and vineyards, the total area of ​​the production area now covers 50 hectares. Quinta do Vale da Perdiz is divided into six Quinta, or farms, located in the heart of the Upper Douro, centered around the village of Torre de Moncorvo. The vines of the Quinta extend on both sides of the valley, on shale soil exposed on terraces. The wines are made with the most prestigious and traditional indigenous grape varieties of the region such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and others, which are the basis of wines made according to the best methods and techniques of winemaking, so that its Cistus bring all the flavor and tradition of Douro at your table.
