Production notes

Hand-harvested from Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional grapes, Cistus Gran Reserva comes from vineyards in the Douro Superior region. This exceptional wine is then aged for twenty months in new French oak barrels after a meticulous vinification process.

Tasting notes

The palate is fleshy and chocolatey. Thick flavor of ripe fruit and alcohol residue underneath, mixed with toasted wood and jam on the finish. Long finish. Decant before serving and drink with red meat, game or cheese.
