Product notes
On poor granite soils, protected from the Atlantic influence by the mountains, the vineyards of this part of the country see the ripening of grapes which have a relatively high natural acidity and which bring finesse and complexity.
Production notes
Harvested by hand. Short pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation on the skins for 6-8 days, with regular pumping over. Aging in French oak barrels and in stainless steel vats.
Tasting notes
Nice attack of red fruits. Concentrated palate of ripe fruit. Generous, precise and with impeccable acidity which gives it a lot of freshness and a persistent finish. Pairings with Portuguese chicken, chorizo pasta and shallot flank steak.
