The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet of honeysuckle, Golden Delicious apples and light brioche notes that come through with aeration. The palate is fresh and spicy on the entry, oering orange peel and tangerine, a twist of sour lemon on the entry, good weight and a slightly waxy-textured nish that lingers in the mouth. Good potential here.
