Baron Filippo Cornacchia was a pioneer of wine production in Abruzzo and succeeded in creating a high-quality product with a strong identity. In those days, everything was grown and processed by hand, working “from dawn till dusk”. Our production is founded on principles of sustainable development, aimed at safeguarding and promoting resources with respect for the environment and the health of consumers.

Product notes
100% Montepulciano: One of the rare clones of this variety to be grown throughout Abruzzo. Limestone soil and microclimate due to the Adriatic Sea and the mountainous regions of Gran Sasso.
Production notes
Vinification and ageing: Maceration with skins for 8-10 days at a temperature of 26° C in a stainless steel vat. Aged in 30 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months, then bottled for three months.
Tasting notes
Color ruby red with violet hues. aroma intense, fruity with hints of cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant. taste fresh, light, balanced and fine.
