Product notes

The Mâconnais mountains form a set of slopes separated by parallel faults and oriented north / north-east and south / south-east. The vineyard is planted on limestone, clay and sandy soils, often mixed with sandstone pebbles.

Production notes

Pneumatic pressing, settling, then alcoholic fermentation at low temperature. Aging on fine lees in vats, minimum 12 months.

Tasting notes

Pale gold color with white gold reflections. An intense nose of acacia flowers. The palate, with its apricot aromas and mineral notes, makes no compromise between its roundness and the very fresh and clean finish. To drink with grilled chicken, veal in sauce, mushroom risotto and cod accras.

Alain Lebel, (Vintage 2018)
