About this winery

It was with the acquisition of Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Ursules that the history of Maison Louis Jadot began in 1826. Product notes

Marsannay, located south of Dijon, is the only village in Burgundy that produces wines of three colors: red, white and rosé. From one of the most beautiful terroirs of Marsannay, this Longeroies is produced from very old vines over 80 years old. It faces south-east.

Production notes

The harvest is manual, carefully sorted by hand and then destemmed. The grapes are macerated in open wooden or stainless steel vats for 3 to 4 weeks. Aging lasts about 18 months in our cooperage's barrels, about a third of which are new.

Tasting notes

This is a dense wine with a firm tannic structure and exceptional balance, almost comparable to a Premier Cru. Its color is dark and deep, and its nose is complex, with aromas of small black berries and ripe fruit. Pairs well with steak tartare, guinea fowl, and game terrine.
