Tasting notes

A clear, garnet-red wine with ruby highlights. The nose is complex with resinous and toasty notes, which, with aeration, reveal fruity aromas: black fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry, and Burlat cherry. The palate is smooth, with well-integrated tannins. A balanced wine with a beautifully long finish, offering notes of coffee, blackcurrant, blueberry, and cedar. Pairs well with white meats in sauce and red meats.

Yohan Castaing, June 2025 (Vintage 2022)

Gourmand and elegant, the 2022 Franc 6 offers up aromas of raspberries, mulberries and flowers. Moderately weighted and wonderfully juicy, it's fresh and seamless with a tense, delicate core of fruit and a penetrating finish. It will drink nicely in its youth.
