Production notes

Total destemming of the grapes and selection of the best fruits in the vineyard and on the sorting table. Aged in French barrels for 30 months

Tasting notes

Deep ruby color. Aromas of plums and black fruits with notes of eucalyptus and pepper and a touch of vanilla. On the palate it is intense and very complex. It is a wine of great elegance and volume and its good acidity gives it liveliness. The soft tannins give it lots of structure and balance. Pairing dishes with sauce.

Roger Voss, January 2020 (Vintage 2016)

The wine is powerfully structured with its layers of tannin and dusty texture. Black fruits provide the weight behind this structure giving a firm, mineral wine that needs some more aging. Drink from 2021.
