About this winery

In 1884, the brothers António and Francisco Borges founded a company dedicated to banking, the sale of lottery tickets and tobacco. Then in 1891, they created the Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges, a company dedicated to the production and marketing of wine. In 1904, they bought the Quinta de Solaheira vineyard in the Douro river valley, laying the first foundations for what would define their true vocation. Roger Voss, January 2021 (Vintage 2019)

A blend of four of the classic Douro white grapes, this wine is soft, toasty and with an easy blend of fresh fruits and bright acidity. There is an attractive citrus crispness to the aftertaste.
