Product notes
About the Vineyard: Am Zaum is located exactly where Silberbichl becomes flat. This transition is particularly interesting because the mica schist from Silberbichl (which influences the wine’s minerality) is present. However, in the plain, the alluvial soils of the Danube dominate, bringing with them newer layers of sediment, salts, and minerals.
Production notes
Grapes selected by hand, gentle pressing, fermentation with natural yeasts (without any cultivated yeast) in stainless steel, settling in large wooden barrels (up to 10,000 l, NO oak taste) before bottling “on lees”
Tasting notes
Bright yellow-green color, with a delicate fruity nose with notes of brioche, delicate yeast and hazelnut. On the palate fresh, tender - crunchy, very typical of the grape variety, dense with a supple richness and subtle spices, perfect harmony and long finish. Pairings with fish, salads and pastas
