Product notes
Vines from Le Castelet, La Cadière d'Azur, Sainte-Anne d'Evenos, Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, and Le Beausset. White, mineral-rich soils from the Cretaceous period, poor in nutrients but rich in limestone and silica. Deep clay soils, particularly around La Cadière d'Azur, where Mourvèdre thrives.
Production notes
Classic vinification with pump-overs. Partial harvesting. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels, then 6 months in cement tanks.
Tasting notes
Complex, rich, full-bodied, and ripe, yet also precise and exceptionally elegant. This is undoubtedly a wine built to age for many more years. Pairs well with roast rack of lamb, a braised meat dish like Provençal daube, and grilled ribeye steak.
