Product notes

71 hectares with the average age of the vines of 20 years

Production notes

Aging for 12 months in barrels (30-40% new) with quarterly racking.

Tasting notes

Beautiful red color with purple highlights. Nose of red fruits (cherry, strawberry, raspberry) with some vanilla notes. The attack is marked by a nice touch of sweetness and some more woody notes, characterized by a lot of roundness, with fruit notes which very quickly mask the woody notes and dominate the palate. Pairings with duck breast and mushroom risotto.

Alistair Cooper, (Vintage 2020)

Cask sample. Rich and creamy compote nose, with a note of graphite and pencil lead. The tannins are very fine and well managed, supporting the medium-bodied and moderate intensity of fruit. Attractive and well balanced in a juicy succulent style.
