Production notes
After arrival at the winery, the grapes are gently pressed to avoid excessive color extraction. Following clarification of the must by flotation, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature between 15 and 16°C. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees for four months, then it is topped up and prepared for bottling.
Tasting notes
Clear, rosy-hued wine. A youthful and fruity aroma, with notes of strawberry and cherry. Like all Douro wines, it has body and a smooth, delicate structure that retains its freshness thanks to its good acidity. Pairs well with aperitifs, tapas, fish, and seafood.
